A more affordable approach to stairlift repairs

New replacement parts can be expensive. Where suitable second-hand components are available, I can sometimes use these instead of costly new main-dealer parts to help keep repair costs down. The right solution depends on the model, the fault and the availability and condition of suitable components.

If your stairlift is beyond repair, there may still be an option

A major fault does not always mean the complete installation has to be replaced. In some cases, I can replace the stairlift unit while reusing suitable existing components, such as the rail and charger, provided they are compatible, in good condition and safe to reuse. This may be a more economical option than replacing the whole installation. Each stairlift needs to be assessed individually.
